Though we are one church with many locations, the purpose of our worship ministry rings true throughout all our environments: Join Our Team
We aim to cultivate worship experiences that are authentic and creative to help people encounter God and want to come back.
The Bayside Worship Academy provides students with detailed and practical musical instruction in a Christ-centered learning environment. Courses are available at a variety of skill levels in piano, guitar, bass, drums, and music theory.
How do I register for a course?
Registration for our Spring 2024 Semester is now open! Register now here.
Who are your instructors?
Our instructors are highly experienced and instrumentally proficient individuals in our worship ministry. Among them are Bayside Worship staff members, private music instructors, and the concertmaster of the Bradenton Pops Orchestra.
What is the age requirement/restrictions?
We require our youngest students to be in 6th grade but welcome all middle school, high school, college students, and adults. We have students ranging from the age of 11 to 80!
What is the duration of the semester?
We offer 45 minute group classes that run weekly on Tuesday evenings for 12 consecutive weeks. Class times vary based on level and can be found on our registration page along with our start and end dates.
What do I need to bring to class?
We recommend students to bring a folder to carry handouts and require students to bring their own guitars, basses, and drumsticks. Though pianos and drum sets are available for in-class use, we ask that students have their own instrument to practice at home during the week. Practice is the only route toward progress. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are in search of equipment recommendations, as our teachers will happily guide you in finding a suitable instrument.
Who can I contact with additional questions?
